PRIZE-WINNERS’ CONCERT.

CAMBRIDGE MUSIC FESTIVAL. LARGE AND A'ABIED PROGRAMME. CAMBRIDGE, Saturday. The Cambridge Competitions Society concluded its week’s festival last evening witli a prize-winners’ concert. There was a large attendance and with the, winners only of the various classes taking part, line entertainment was provided. On, behalf of the society the president. Mr F. Wool ridge, presented the trophies, lie said the. competitors were fortunate in having the services of such competent judges as Miss D. Knight (dancing), Messrs \V. Russell-Wood (elocution),. Will Hutchins (music). The championship cup was won by Mr Gerard Peters, of Cambridge. Following was the programme: Piano solo, Mary Turney; recitation, Nina Waite; piano solo, Joyce. Duncan; vocal solo. Miss Marjorie Donn'; recitation, Miss Mavis Seed; Highland Fling, Peggy Mc.Atrulty; character recitation, Lorna Bridges; school choir, Cambridge Convent; operatic solo, Miss Cora Tavlor; piano solo, Faye Nlckle; recitation, Phyllis Garland; dance duo, Margaret Scrimshaw and Bernice Clioat; piano sulo Miss Una Mateer; contralto sole).
