THREE IN HOSPITAL. CYCLISTS HIT A CAR. (By Telegraph —i’r(ir..« \ssne!attonA AUCKLAND, Saturday. Two motor-cyclists, one carrying a pillion-rider, were involved in a serious crash with a uar at Mount Eden to-day. The cyclists were riding parallel at a fair pace from the city, and observed, too late, that a car from the opposite direction was turning off the Mount Eden road into Ruatangi Road. A terrific impact resulted in three toeing taken to the hospital, H. J. Barley, cyclist, with a fractured right leg; A. E. Adams, the pillion rider, with a fractured leg, and R. Laver, cyclist, with concussion and foot injuries. A girl, Crenel- Rattray, aged 13, -who was standing at the corner, was -knocked down and sustained minor injuries.
