“PEAT SMOKE” : “SNOW SHADOW” (By Air (Mail.) (From a Correspondent.) BRADFORD, Aug. 11. “Jungle Red,” “Snow and “ Peat Smoke ” —these are a few of the new colours vyhich women will wear this autumn. Their names may be invented In London but how and why, I’m sure I can’t say,” an official of the Dyers’ and Finishers’ Association told me. “The international colour catalogue contains hundreds of shades and scores of variations of each shade. Most of (hem have unusual and picturesque names.” “ Gipsy Brown ” and “Lido Blue ” •are fairly obvious, but during the next ;few months staid business men will be discussing the respective merits of “ Iris Brown ” and “Bunting Yellow,” among many others.
