ROXY THEATRE.
“Imitation of Life" is an outstandingly good film. It is really two stories in one, for besides the engrossing romance of Claudette Colbert and Warren William is the tragedy of the half-caste girl who Is not wanted by either the negroes or the Whites. It gives a gripping slice of life., and is perfectly acted by -Claudette Colbert, Warren William, Rochelle Hudson, Ned Sparks, Baby Jane and Alan Hale.
"Dandy Dick" is the film version of Hie grout stage success. The hilarious comedy is well played by Will Hay, Nancy Burnc, Jimmy God.den and others, uiul keeps the audience chuckling.
TO-MOR RO W'S ATTRACTI ON S. To-morrow “ Chained." an intensely interesting drama, will be screened, it features Joan Crawford and Clark Gable-
The romantic comedy, "Mrs Wiggs of the Cabbage Hatch," the gorgeous coloured cartoon “ The Spectacle Maker," and a Popeyc the Sailor cartoon will also be shown.
