Shearing Competition. —“ Fully 70 per cent, of the townspeople have never seen a sheep shorn, while even to the practical farmer it is fascinating to see an expert on the job," commented the secretary, Mr W. L. Ranstcad, at a meeting of the executive committee of tho Waikato Agricultural and Pastoral Association to-day in making a suggestion to include a sheep-shearing competition in 1935 summer show. Several members commended the proposal and the grounds commit ice was instructed to investigate Ihe practicability of the suggested Innovation.
