NEWS AND NOTES. Hungary ships many thousands of cases of dressed poultry to England every month. Small, plump birds arc preferred for the English market, since they suit the purso of the average household. ■Spain imports eggs and arrangements have been made for an exchange of produce with the Argentine, a country that may yet develop into a large poultry-producing factor in world trade.

Cheap second-hand sheets of corrugated iron are most handy on the poultry farm. The, best ones can be used for buildings, whilst the oldest will provide excellent, shelter. Whenever a sale lakes place, poullrymen are keen buyers, and some reserve supplies should always be available.
