£I7OO OF JEWELLERY. AUCKLAND FIRM ROBBED. • SECOND IN TWELVE MONTHS. (By Telegraph.—Press Association.) AUCKLAND, Tuesday. . Fop the second time within a year the premises of James Pascoe, Jewellers, In Karangahape Road, were robbed last night . op early this morning. On September 20 last, burglars'entered through a skylight and stole £l-100 worth of jewellery. Since then the skylight has been bolted from the but burglars last night climbed S to a window on the second floor and using a hacksaw on the iron bars, 'crawled through. They blew open one, safe with gelignite and forced their way Into the stockroom. Then they spent some time In the warehouse and \ opened another safe, from which they took everything of value, Including a bar of gold, gold filings, and many precious stones to the value of £7OO. From other parts of the premises they stole general jewellery of a value not fullv ascertained, but known to exceed £IOOO.
