A MEAN THEFT.
AN ABUSE OF TRUST. SHIP’S CARGO BROACHED. (By Telegraph.—Press Association.) WELLINGTON, Monday. For the theft of shoes and toothbrushes from a vessel on xvhicli lie had been employed as watchman in port, Robert Craig Boyd Taylor, aged 21, seaman, xvas sentenced to three months’ imprisonment by Mr E. D. Mosley, S.M., in the Magistrate’s Court to-day-The police slated that accused admilled having broached Ihc cargo on tlie Rangilano at Auckland. “I cnniiol possibly overlook an offence of ibis nature.
