On Saturday’ the United juniors won the championship of the Cambridge Union for the second year in succession, playing a final drawn game with Leamington. At last night’s meeting of the Rugby Union the sequel to the final was a protest by the Leamington Club alleging that two United players, T. Lorrimer and F. Hubbard, were not eligible. The Leamington delegate stated that Lorrimer had played for the Karapiro juniors as well as for United during the season and that Hubbard had been playing oiutside the district for Morrinsville seniors. The matter was held in abeyance until information was received from Morrinsville. KING COUNTRY TOURERB. THAMES AND BAY OF PLENTY. \ The following are the selected players. who will represent the Northern King Country against Thames Valley (Paeroa) and Bay of Plenty (at Taurangu) on the 24th. and 28th. instants respectively:- —Pickering, Turner, McLeod, Barlow, Craig, Trust (Maniapoto), Nelson, Bathgate, Barton (Taumarunui), Bradshaw, Perry, Sergeant (Ruapehu), Kemp, Howie, Crassman (Ohura), Wheeler and Simpson (Kailiske).
