The owners of the Anchor Donaldson Company’s 13,475-ton liner Letjtia, which Is stranded on a sandbank in the Belfast Loch, state that the 260 passengers from Montreal, destined for Belfast, Liverpool, and Glasgow, were taken off by a tender shortly before noon to-day, and are proceeding by ordinary steamer.

The -Letitia went aground in a dense I fog late last night, and efforts to get her off made early this morning were unsuccessful.

It is expected she will be able to get away at next high water.
