PIANO RECITAL.

Mr Lloyd Powell, examiner for the Associated Board, London, and a brilliant pianist, will give a piano recital in the Masonic Hall, Claudelands, on Wednesday, under Hie auspices of the Hamilton Music Students’ Association. He will give a Bach group, a Chopin and Schumann group, and’ a modern group. HAMILTON PHILHARMONIC CHOIR. A performance of “The Ancient Mariner ” will he given by the Hamilton Philharmonic Choir, at the Winter Show Hall to-morrow night, under the direction of Mr Stanley James. The soloists will be: —Soprano, Jean McLeod; contralto, Ruby Sutherland; tenor, J. T. Battersby; bass, George Wheeleritems will also be given by Myra Booth, Kathleen Rapps, Myra Salter and Douglas Scott. CONCERT. A concert will be given in St. Peter's Hall to-night, when dances will lie given by the pupils of Miss Mavis Laurenson, elocutionary items by Miss Phyllis Torpy, and songs, etc., by oilier performers.
