ENJOYABLE CONCERT. Another enjoyable concert wa-s held in the Parish Hall on Tuesday evening in aid of choir funds. An attractive programme had been arranged by Airs A. Holmes and the items were enthusiastically received. ' . The programme was as follows; Chorus, company; 'piano duets, Aliases J. Clow and Betty 'Boyce; playette, “ Darby and Joan,” Ina Holmes, Pam Oaten, Zela Bell, Betty Hooper; violin, solos, Airs Chatfleld; duets, Betty and Alona Ross; elocution, Pam Oaten; songs, Ina Holmes; elocution, Aliss Vera Crawford; playette, Aliss Brann and company; songs, Air Weatherell; songs, Air 11. Armstrong; elocution, lan Ross; songs, Air AI. Calvert; songs, Aliss Daisy Giles; trio, “ Bird in Hand," Alisses Crawford, Attwood and Hensen; songs, Aliss L. Browne. Card Afternoon. 'Members of the Domain Croquet Club gathered at Airs McLarnpn’s home in Stafford Street recently for their usual card afternoon. The prize for the highest score was won by Mrs Pearce and the consolation prize by Mrs D. Kelly. Among those present were: —}lesdames T. L. Tucker (president), Pearce, O. Gane, G.
