HUNTLY CLUB MEETS. . ELECTION OF OFFICERS. The annual meeting- or the Iluntly Cricket Club was held during: the weekend when .Mr Brook presided over a good attendance Of members and supporters. The 'financial statement disclosed a satisfactory credit balance. The club had received a number of gold medals which had beeji awarded to players heading •bowling *and*batting averages, players with highest individual score, number of catches, and for other sections or the game. The Organising or an art union was placed in the hands or Mr J. Douglas, junr. Several engagements had already been booked by the club and It Is anticipated •that the Huntly public will see some interesting cricket during the coming season. The • following officers were elected: — President, Mr N. Harrison; vice-presidents, Messrs F. McDonald, R. J. Warrdn, R. Wilcox, J. Watson, W. H. Bailey, G. Smith; Secretary-treasurers, Mr F. Brook and Mr W. H. Rainsrord; selection committee, Mr C. Stevens, Mr C. Merrin and the captain; official umpires, Messrs 11. and A. Rayner: scorer, Mr R. Outhwaile; auditor, Messrs J. L. Thomas and .1.- Douglas. A ladies’ committee was also formed.
