Valpeen still holds his place as one of the rulfng fancies for the Grand National Steeplechase and his consistent record and proved fenolng ability entitles him to preference over the majority of the field. The aged son of Valkyrlan and Sports Queen, despite his solid poundage, will take a lot of beating and special Interest will centre on his sohoollng trials during the week.
