An announcement of considerable interest to theatregoers was made today, Mr Cyril Ritehard announcing that his marriage to -Miss Madge Elliott would take place on September 16 at St. Mary’s Basilica, Sydney. Miss Elliott’s wedding gown lias arrived from England. It cost about 400 guineas. The well-known soprano, Mfss Gladys Moncricff, will sing at the wedding. Mr Cyril Ritehard and Miss Madge Elliott arc well known in Now Zealand, where they have appeared on numerous occasions in musical productions sponsored by the J. 0. Williamson firm. They were last here in “ Blue Roses." At present they are appearing ia “ Robiu.'L* " *" •~'jisbaue.
