FIRM CLOSING QUOTATIONS. (B.V Telegraph,—Special to Times.) AUCKLAND, Saturday. At the last call of the week on ’Change, bidding was quiet but firm, and there were few bargains offering. Woolworlii’s again attracted special interest. For the New Zealand scrip £l3 10s was offered, but sellers held off. The shares of the parent company were quoted between £5 is 6d and £5 2s Gd, while those of the West Australian Company had buyers at £8 with sellers asking Is higher. Colonial Sugars failed to hold the full extent of their recent rise' and were quoted between £44 12s Gd and £44 17s Gd. / New- Zealand Breweries were easier with sellers at 53s and buyers at 52s Gd.

There was practically no change in Government slocks, blit a substantial parcel of Auckland Harbour Board 4} per cent, debentures changed hands at £IOO. Sales Recorded. Tlie following sales were recorded: Farmers’ Trading, 7s 2d. Renown Coal, 9s 9d. New Zealand Fanpers’ Fertiliser, 20s Gd. Union Oil, 30s. Claude‘Neon (N.Z.), 425. Bank of New Zealand, 51 s Gd.
