FALSE PRETENCE CHARGES, REMAN’D OF TRAVELLER, (By Telegraph.—Press Association.) PALMERSTON N., Friday. When the Supreme Court resumed to-day Hie Crown Prosecutor cnlered a " nolle prosequi ’’ in respect of five charges of false prelcnces in which the jury yesterday disagreed, preferred against John George Rutherford,, a traveller. Accused was remanded till Monday for seutcttco on two counts of theft.
