'TRIE attention of Starters is drawn to a new Rule, passed at the last Conference, that no person shall act as Starter of any race unless he is licensed to act as such by the Stipendiary Stewards’ Committee. Such license will only he issued to those persons who the Committee deem lit and competent, and is an annual one, continuing in force until the end of each racing year unless and until revoked or cancelled at any time. Applications for licenses for season 1935-3 G will he received by the Secretary of the N.Z. Trotting Conference at Christchurch up till August Bth., 1935. Applications must be by letter addressed to the Secretary only, and should state age and qualifications and be accompanied with copies only of testimonials which will be treated as confidential.
