PETER PAN’S LETTER.

£)EAR CURLS AND BOYS, ' Yoif cannot dream of the oommotlorf that was going on while thl3 letter was being written, “No-One” was ,sitting whistling as hard as he possibly could, all sorts of messages for the Pets’ Page and ‘' Some-One ” was purring round Peter’s feet and occasionally grunting messages too, and In the middle of It all- In came the twins to see, how everything was getting along. “ Dear me,” said Peter with a sigh, “ If you keep on like this, It will be a wonder If there: Is a Pets’ Page at all. But here It Is, and \ye do. hope you like It. Peter Is rather fond of old Bruin the Bear himself. Don’t you think It is a Jolly picture of him on his honey hunts? On h|s way to work every morning Peter sees (and hears) the loveliest little bind singing spring songs Just as gaily as he «an, sometimes he Is on one side of the road and sometimes on the other, and we have a little game. 'Peter can hear him whistling “Where am I, where am I,” and then “Hullo sweet, hullo sweet,” and there he Is as cheerful and happy as ever. Peter Is sure, he sent you his loveliest song for-our Pets’ Page, too.”

And we have another kind friend who Is Interested In our Page, too. She has sent us two lovely pictures of her own pets: Tim the oat, who la 14 years old, and Pat the dog, who Is 10 years old. As we cannot put them In our Page to show you, she has very kindly said we may put them In the showcase In the lobby for you to see. . And this Is not really Pets’ Page news, but It Is none the less Interesting all the same. Almost the day after Peter said he had not seen one daffy, he saw four. One double one and throe single ones, and to show him that Spring was really and truly here, there came four more from Lorna Forster, three from Colleen Hogan, and sdch lots of letters from little people Who had seen their first ones too. This week there are no answers, so don’t forget to ask all your questions again In your next letter, will you? To our new members we send the warmest of Circle welcomes. Do write again next week. Lots of love from yours romping with the pets in the garden, ——— fL*.: _
