The Jubilee season ended with a Royal garden party at Buckingham Palace. Twelve thousand were present, being a record attendance. Their Majesties, on arriving on the lawn were met by many Royalties. They kissed Princess Elizabeth, who curtsied to her grandparents. The King and Queen, moved freely among the guests. The heat of the afternoon was responsible for innovations, many women wearing glare glasses. Numerous guests brought shooting sticks on .which to -sit. _
