(Received July 26, 10.25 a.m.) LONDON, July 25. # : At the wool sales 7704 bales were offered, including 2434 bales New Zealand, and .about 4414 bale's Aus-;, tralian and New Zealand were -sold. New Zealand slipe, half-bred, lambs, Feilding, top price 13d, average 10id. After the setback towards the end of the second week the demand widened and closed Arm, prices tending in sellers’ favour. Compared with the May closing rates Merinos, greasy, warp character, •were 10 per cent, higher, purely Con-, tlnental styles of topmaking fleeces, five to 7J per cent.; scoureds, fine bulky, 5 per cent..; broader styles, 5 per cent.; inferior faulty, par to 5 per cent.; crossbreds, fine and medium, helped toy the recent Russian support 10 to 15 per cent.; sllpes, 7§ per cent. The total catalogued was 120,164 bales; sold, home 59,000 bales, the ’Continent, 40,500 bales; held, 72,000 bales; total sale% Australian 45,000 bales; New Zealand, 45,000 bales.
The Bradford Market. 1 At Bradford Merinos were easier, and crossbreds Arm. Seventies brought 32d, sixtyfours 30d, sixties 29d, Aftysixes 20d, Afties 15d, fortysixes 124 d, forties IOJd.
