WOMEN’S DIVISION.
TE AROHA—WAIHOU BRANCH. At the monthly meeting of the Te Aroha-Waihou branch of the Women’s Division there was a large attendance of membars. Mrs Kilpatrick, vicepresident, presided, in the absence of Mrs Hair, who was attending the conference in Wellington. It was decided to hold a concert in 1 ’ Waihou Hall on August 30. Mr Ziman, of Cambridge, gave a much appreciated address on “ The Peoples of India,” and was accorded a hearty vote of thanks. The occasion being the fifth aniversary of the branch, prominence was given to the birthday cake, which had been made by Mrs Landman and iced by Airs 'Kilpatrick. Mr Ziman was invited to light the candles, and Airs Ziman cut the cake. The competition for a vase of flowers was won by Mrs Waddell, witii Airs Landman second. The hostesses for the afternoon were Mesdames Daines, Landman, Lenand and Worrall.
