DAIRY LEADER’S DEATH.

REFERENCE TO LATE MR FULTON

Previous to proceeding with the business of the meeting, the chairman, Mr It. A. Candy, at the annual meeting of convenors of tho New Zealand Cooperative Herd Testing Association today, made feeling reference to the death of Mr Dynes Fulton. “ 1 am sure I am expressing the' opinion of the meeting in slating that we lost by the death of Mr Fulton the outstanding .figure in the dairy industry. He was tho man responsible more than any other l'or placing this association on the very sound foundation it has to-day. “ i have followed Ills able administration and excellent leadership in connection with ttie affairs of your association over a period of ten years, and his name will ever ho recorded in the history of the group herd testing movement of New Zealand. I feel it is unnecessary to stress Ihc great loss sustained by , the . dairying industry through the death of .Mr Fulton. I am sure it was with profound regret that the dairy farmers* of this Dominion learned of the passing of such a oourageous, trusted and cherished leader.”
