SOLDIERS’ MORTGAGES,

At a meeting of the To Aroha branch of the Returned Soldiers’ Association a letter was received from the Katl Kati branch, asking for support to a protest against t.he Soldiers* Settlement Mortgages hetng taken over by the, National Mortgage corporation. The matter was briefly diseusied aarl It was decided to support the

protest and to forward a letter to the lion, c. E. Macmillan to that effect. Owing to his transfer to Auckland Mr D. McMahon resigned the position of secretary and Mr 11. Carwadlnc was elected to All the vacancy.
