WEDDING.
ROBINSON—HOWARTH,
The marriage was solemnised in the Morrinsville Catholic Church on Wednesday between Gwendoline Agnes third daughter of Mr and Mrs A. G Howarth, of Kereone, and Douglas Godfrey, third son of Mr and Mrs H Robinson, of Waihou. The Rev Father O’Docherty officiated, and the wedding music was played by Miss W Munro.
The bride, who entered the church with her father, wore an ensemble suit of grey crepe mouseiline with blue relief, and felt hat to match. She carried a posy of daphne, violets and maidenhair fern.
Miss Zara Howarth (sister of the bride) and Miss Linda Robinson (sister of the bridegroom)- were the bridesmaids and wore similar navy blue costumes and felt hats to match. They carried posies of spring flowers. After the ceremony a reception was held at the residence of the bride’s parents, the guests being received by Mrs Howarth, who wore navy blue ensemble with hat lo tone. Mr and Mrs D. G. Robinson will make their home in Okoroire.
