HAMILTON WEBT PUPILS.

MOST SUCCESSFUL FUNCTION,

A very gay spirit prevailed at the iannual fancy dress hall of the Hamilton West School held, in the Regent Ballroom on Friday evening, when a very happy time was spent by the large Dumber of children present. The function was a most successful one, and the splendid programme of songs, Ringing games, choral and folk dances given delightfully by the children of the school, reflected the greatest credit on those responsible for their training. The costumes were very varied (md the grand marches for the seniors land juniors provided a colourful and fdoturesque scene. During the evenng a delicious supper \vas- served by a capable band of helpers. Tho programme was as follows: — Grand march.
