MINOR OFFENCES.
HUNTLY MAGISTRATE'S COURT. HUXTT.Y, Thursday. John Albert Thomas, or Huntly West, •was charged before Mr S. L. Paterson S.M., in the Huntly Magistrate's Court today, with driving a motor-car over thi Glasgow Street crossing when the railway line was not clear. He was convicted and fined 10s and costs
James Peden' and Andrew Tait, miners, employed at Glen Afton Collieries, were each charged that on June 21 they railed systematically and adequately to support the roofs or their working-places at the mine with props at such regular intervals as required by the timbering regulations specified Tor that mine. Defendants, who did not appear, were convicted and lined £1 and costs 123 each.
