HORSE SALE. AT MORRINSVILLE. The Farmers’ Co-operative Auctioneering Company, Limited, report having held their Morrinsville horse edle yesterday, when a large entry of horses, of all classes, including a good percentage of the .better class animal, came forward. There was a large attendance of buyers from all parts of the Waikato and also further Good reliable young farm horses am. unbroken horses received most attention, selling readily at late advanced figures. In some cases vendors' reserves were too high to sell under the hammer, but in most instances satisfactory deals were completed privately. CLEARING SALE AT OHAUPO. IVfßssrs. G. W. Vercoe and Company, Limited, report having held a clearing sale on account of Mr J. J. Brosnahan at Ohaupo yesterday. The herd, which was submitted to a fair bench of buyers, came forward in low condition, and although no calving dates were available satisfactory prices were realised. A small number of sundries sold at late rates. We quote: Good quality Jersey and Jersey cross cows (early calvers), niade £4 10s to £5 ss; later calvers, £3 10s to £4 7s 6d; others, £2 10s to £3 ss; unsound cows, 20s to £2 ss; Jersey heifers in milk, £3 to £3 10s; small backward heifers, £2 5s to £2 15s; Jersey bulls, to £5. OTOROHANGA STOCK SALE.

• The New Zealand ’Loan and 'Mercantile Agency Company, Limited, Hamilton, report on their fortnightly Otorohanga stock sale held .on Wednesday as follows: — Cattle: Fat and store cows were entered In about the usual supply and met with a keen sale at values fully equal to late rates. A few pens of in calf and yearling heifers and bulls.also realised usual market rates. The yarding of dairy cattle was a large one, Including the advertised herd, but most were only second-class cattle. Prices were much the same as at the previous sale, and practically all changed hands. We quote: Medium quality fat cows and heifers, £3 5s to , £3 11s; lighter fat cows. £2 Jos to £3 15s; fresh conditioned cows, £1 16s to £2 ss; good stores, £1 10s to £1 15s; boners,. £1 to £1 10s; yearling Jersey heifers,. £1 15s; bulls, to £3; good dairy cows and heifers, close to profit, £3 10s to £1 15s; medium do, £2 15s to £3 10s: late and inferior, up to £2 . 10s. Sheep: The yarding was a small one of all classes and a keen ( sale resulted, with prices fully on a par with recent recordings. We quote:— Medium fat lambs, 17s £d to 19s 6d; medium fat ewes, 15s to 16s 7d; good ewe lambs, £1 Is; plain five-year ewes in lamb to Southdown rams, 16s 2d; store lambs, 12s 3d to 14sPigs: Although tneru was a good large entry, consisting mostly of stores and weaners, there was exceptionally keen bidding an'd a decided increase in values was obtained. Dairy cattle: These were again yarded in heavy numbers, bait the market was only fair. Pigs: The entry comprised mostly stores and weaners. Competition was good throughout.
