Following the receipt of a letter from a member pointing out the inconvenience to the commercial community of Ihe graduated system of telegraph charges, there was a short discussion on the. subject by the Council of the Wellington Chamber of Commerce, in which the president, Mr M. G- G. MeCaul, said the Chamber favoured a revision of the lint rale. It was finally decided that llio question of revision to the Hat rate bo brought forward at a subsequent dale and "hammered away at again."
