VICTORY AT ASHBURTON.
ASHBURTON, Wednesday
The All India hockey team to-day defeated the Mid-Canterbury representatives by 11 goals to \O. The ground was soaked, but in spite of tlio adverse conditions a good exhibition was given. At half-time the Indians had scored only three goals, bul goals came fast in the later stages.
