NURSES’ DANCE
SUCCESSFUL FUNCTION. PLEASANT EVENING SPENT. A most successful dance was held at the Waikato Hospital on Tuesday evening when there was a large number present and a very happy time was spent. The reception room looked most attractive with streamers in rea and white, and the tables in the supper room were decorated with Iceland poppies and autumn leaves. The guests were received by Miss Mcnzies, the lady superintendent, wearing a frock of turquoise blue velvet, Miss Jenkins, the sub-matron, wearing marina blue velvet, and Miss A. Greenwood wearing black georgette. Each carried a posy of violets presented by the nurses. Among those present were:—Mcsdames M. M. llockin (wife of the superintendent), wearing black georgette; Gordon Smith, turquoise blue velvet; R. J. Boyt, marina blue ripple satin.
