BOUT AT RAKAIA. HAWES BEATS BUCKLEY. ASHBURTON, Wednesday. Peroy Hawes (-Christchurch) Bst. 101 b. beat Charlie Buckley (Dunedin) 9st. *7lb. on points in a ten-round boxing bout at Ralcaia. Both gave a good exhibition of clever boxing, although Ilawes was on top most -of the time.
