ASSISTANCE TO SUPPLIERS
EQUALISATION PAYMENTB. TE AROHA BODY’S ACTION. (Special to Times.) TE AROHA, Wednesday. With a view to assisting suppliers during the winter months the Te Aroha-Thames Valley Dairy Company, Ltd., has decided to make further payments in June and July. It is recognised that butter-fat returns in these months are small, while farmers have to incur heavy expenses in preparing for the new season, in regard to culling and bringing herds up to full strength. The June equalisation payments will be as follows: id per lb. on all butterfat supplied during September, 1934; 4d per lb during October, 1934; Id per lb during November, 1934; Jd per lb during December, 1934; Jd during February, 1935; id during March, 1935; and Jd during April, 1935. It is anticipated that a further bonus will be paid out on July 20, and tlie final payment for the season on August, 20. The average pay out to date this season by the company is 8-699 d per lb for superfine.
BUTTER-FAT PAYMENTS. ADVANCES FOR MAY. The Tc -Aroha-Thamcs Valley Dairy Company llii-s week made an advance payment of 9fd per lb butter-fat as ;il. fanii gate in respect of May supply.
