THE AUCKLAND MARKETS. FAIR VOLUME OF BUSINESS. (By Telegraph.—Special to Times.) AUCKLAND, Wednesday. Some improvement on ’Change has been noted since the last report and a fair volume of business has been put through. South -British Insurances appear to have steadied after their recent decline. Bank of New Zealands continued remarkably steady, with fresh business at 50s lOd, after which the market lav between 50s 9d and *3os lOd. New Zealand Breweries were easier with sellers at £2 13s Gd and no buyers in sight.
Farmers’ Trading seemed steadier with buyers at Gs lOd and no sellers.
There was very little change in Government slocks. Dunlops showed further weakness. After a sale at iGs 3d, sellers asked iGs 4d, without attracting buyers.
