! ANNUAL FOOTBALL DANCE. The local Football Club held their annual dance in the Walton Hall on Thursday evening, when therfe was a good attendance, including visitors from surrounding districts. Novelty dances were much enjoyed. Miss May Lock and Mr F, Smith were the winners of the Monte Carlo, and Miss j Jessie Whistler and Mr D. Lay, of the j waltzing competition. Dr. Lorraine, of i Waharoa, was the judge. Excellent ! music was supplied by the Blue Boys Orchestra, of Waihi. Extras were played by Mrs C. Mapp.
