Where have our versemakers been while we have been having painting competitions, essay competitions, and other puzzlers? Peter thinks it is time they put out their rhyming caps for a little airing. So he would like lots and lots of verses about eight, ten or twelve lines on “Winter Joys." You may make them about anything you like, the joy of flowers in winter, or skating, or reading, or the gardens, Just what you please, but do try hard and let us have lots of good entries. . Now, versemakers, show the artists and essay writers and puzzlers what you' can do. Send your entries in to Peter with name, age, and address attached (and do rememberl) by Saturday, June 15. Senior: 13 years and over. intermediate: 10 to 12 years. Junior: 9 years and under.
