Plough, Tine Harrows, Tripod Harrows ; Sundries, etc. NOTE.—This is a choice herd of mostly second and third calvers. They were not tested last year, but the previous season a large number did over 400 lbs. fat. One which was the top of the Group produced 783 lbs. fat. The offering will comprise: K 7 CHOICE DAIRY JERSEY AND JERSEY CROSS COWS, 2nd, 3rd and 4th calvers (40 of these cows due in July, balance early August, to pedigree Jersey bull) 14 choice Jersey and Jersey cross heifers, in calf to Jersey bull 8 yearling heifers 2 aged heavy draught horses (all , work) Bentall Mower, practically new; Hayralce, practically new; Set Chain and Tripod Harrows; Tumbler Sweep; 3Cow Wallace Milking Machine complete; Cream Cans, etc. NOTE.—We have inspected the above cows and report that they are a choice young herd. They are in good condition and well forward in calf. Factory returns averaged 275 lbs. fat. We can thoroughly recommend buyers to attend the sale. ALSO his Choice Herd of: KQ YOUNG DAIRY COWS, practically all carrying third calf, and in-calf to pedigree bull, coming to profit early NOTE.—We have inspected the 1 above heifers, and consider them to be the outstanding line to be offered In the Waikato this season. They were carefully selected in Taranaki and from the leading herds in the Waikato last year. The quality and type speak for themselves. Both the above lines are in great order for a good season’s production. If required, cattle bought at this sale will be delivered to Frankton free of charge.
