UNIVERSITY STUDENTS
EMPLOYMENT ON FARMS. FARM HRS’ U.NT ON’S DECISION. The question of the employment of University students on farms and in 'the harvest Held during their vacations, was raised at a meeting of the Waikato Sub-Provincial executive of the Farmers’ Union yesterday. Mr R. H. Feissl suggested that the University authorities should notify the Farmers’ Union of the number of students prepared to undertake farm work during their holidays, and tho Union could then endeavour to place them. The molion on these lines was carried, several speakers commenting that they had found excellent workers among the students.
