BLEDISLOE TROPHY.

PRIZE FOR AVIATION. •CONTEST AT BLENHEIM. (By Telegraph.—Press Association.) BLENHEIM, Wednesday. The Anal contest for tho Bledisloe aviation trophy was held this afternoon between F. V. Reid, of llie Wairarapa Aero Club, representing the North Island, and R. D. Lucas, of the Nelson Aero Club, representing the South Island. The judges were WingCommander T. M. Wilkes, director of air services, and Squadron-Leader G. Slcdman, ol‘ llie Wellington Aero Club.

The conditions were had, heavy rain falling almost continuously, but both pilots put up excellent performances. Reid was the winner with a total of 242 points, Lucas securing 214 points.
