BURGLARY CHARGE.

DIFFERENT PLEAS GIVEN. ONE MAN FOR TRIAL. COMPANION FOR SENTENCE. (By TelegrapD,—Press Association.) WELLINGTON, Wednesday. Different pleas were entered in tho Magistrate’s Court by Alexander Cliurton, aged 35, and Alfred George Featherston, aged 24, who were charged with breaking and entering the house of William Randall at Plimmerton, and stealing £2O. Featherslon plead guilty and was committed to the Supreme Court for sentence. Cliurton pleaded not guilty and reserved his defence. He was committed for trial. (Bail was allowed in £IOO.

It Is ■alleged that Churton had been friendly with Randall’s daughter and discovered through her that Randall had money on the premises.
