HOCKEY CLUB DANCE.

AT MATANGI. The ladies of the Matangi Hockey Club held a successful dance on Thursday when there was a fair attendance. Martin’s Melody Boys supplied excellent music and extras were played by Miss. Dance. Mr C. Richardson was M.C., A Monte Carlo was won by Miss Ivy Townsend and partner. Supper was served by the ladies of the committee.

Among those present were:—Mesdaknes J. B. Taylor, D. McKenzie. Misses Phyllis Taylor, Winnifred Wilkes, Kathleen Dance, Betty West, Ruby Shaw, Marjorie Tomlinson, Ivy Townsend, Chapman, Amelia Shaw, Joan McDowell, Muriel McKenzie, Audrey Cranston, Elsie Shaw, Noeline Tomlinson, G. Townsend, Eileen Nielsen, Laura Cranston.
