TE RAPA TRACKS.
THIS MORNING’S WORK. LITTLE ACTIVITY APPARENT. SILVER DIVISION SCHOOLED, After heavy rain the going wa§ heavy at Te Rapa this morning and few horses were sent against the clock. The inside grass was open for; fast and pace work., A feature of the morning’s pro-, gramme was a fine schooling effort on the part of Silver Division who negotiated four fences on the steeplechase course in impressive style. He will, probably not start on the first day of the Te Kuiti meeting, present inten-. tions being to keep him for the sec-< ond day of the fixture.
Gloster and Calsbot pleased by the manner in which they hit out over half-a-mile in 51 £s.
Prince Acre (Winder) was half-a-length in front of Sir Musk (Camp-, mi.) at the conclusion of a six-fur-long eftWfii first three furlongs in 40s. Both handled the conditions in good style, Tlie balance of the morning’s work was of a useful nature. ' ; '\
