The Rt. Rev. Dr. G. H. Granswick, Bishop of Glppsland, Victoria, arrived at Wellington by the Monowal on Monday. He will ispend several months In the Dominion.
Sir Samuel Hoare, British Secretary of State for India, is convalescent after a severe attack of influenza and congestion of the lungs.
Mr J. Primrose, Mr S. B. Sims, and Mr F. A. Snell have been reappointed to the Beard of Governors of the Hamilton High School, as representatives of the Auckland Education Board.
Mr A. P. Weslhoven, formerly chief inspector of finance in the Commonwealth Postmaster-General’s Department, arrived at Wellington by the Maurtganui on Monday after a holiday In Rarotonga. He will return to Australia in about ’two weeks-
