New .Plymouth, Thames, Te ’Awamutu, Auckland, Cambridge, Rotorua and other districts will be strongly represented at the gathering. In the cycling events, Miss Violet Baird, Auckland, New’ 'Zealand champion lady oyclist, Matt Bell, Rotorua ohampion, Merv. Gamble, . Auckland champion and’holder of New Zealand one mile record, G. Holland, Auckland and New Zealand junior champion, will be formidable contestants. 'Other competitors-who will make their presence felt will be Cliff Hawkins, New 'Plymouth ohampion and North Auckland road champion and several other outstanding provincial . riders. A strong contingent of loqal wheelmen ■ will also be competing. Among the contenders in the running events will be M. C. Baker, Thames champion, and the' Rotorua champion, :F. R. Kerr.
