WAR PREDICTED.
UNITED STATES AND JAPAN. UNLESS DEFENCES STRENGTHENED (Received April 17, 11.40 a.m.) WASHINGTON, April 16. An eventual war with Japan unless the United States strengthens Its defences was predicted by Mr W. Mitchell, former assistant chief of the Army Air Forces, when testifying before tlm Senate Military Affairs Committee, whloh is Investigating the pooling of aeroplane patents.
