ESCAPE FROM CUSTODY.
CHARGE AGAiIMST FATHER. SON UNLAWFULLY HARBOURED. (By Telegraph.—Press Association.) WELLINGTON, Friday. Allen Farquhar Young', a labourer, was to-day oonvleled on a charge of unlawfully harbouring his son, who had escaped from Ihe lawful control of the superintendent of the child welfare branch of the Education Department. The boy escaped from Weraroa on January 7, and arrived homo flvo days later. 'Phe magistralo pointed out Hint accused was liable to a line of £SO, lull, he was in -poor linanrial circumstances and would be ordered to come up for sentence if called upon within 12 months.
