STILL MISSING
LADY YOUNG & COMPANION GRAVE FEARS FELT. INTENSIVE SEARCH INSTITUTED. United Press Assn.—Elec. Tel. Copyright. (Received March 2, 11.30 a.m.) CAPETOWN, March 1. Grave anxiety is felt as regards Lady Young and Dr. Kirby. Fear is expressed that Lady Young, who recently was ill with malaria, has been overcome by weakness and crashed. Sir Herbert Young, the Governor, flew over the thickly-wooded country between Choma and Monze searching for traces of the missing plane, and police patrols are visiting the native villages for possible news. The Rhodesian railways are sending 100 men to join in the search, while 200 men of the northern Rhodesia Regiment have arrived at Livingstone. A message received yesterday stated that two aeroplanes are searching for Lady Young, wife of the Governor of Northern Rhodesia, Sir IT. W. Young. She left Livingstone in the morning, flying her own machine, and accompanied by the Government medical officer, for Lusaka, where the Governor is now staying. The aeroplane waiy sighted an hour after leaving, but' since then no trace has been reported of it. ■
