Copyright LONDON, Feb. ‘2B. •The Star says (he British Cabinet is alarmed at the possibility of an offensive in Abyssinia when the rainy season lias ended. The Foreign Minister, Sir John Simon, has instructed Sir Erie Drummond, British Ambassador in Rome, to see Signor Mussolini without delay. Sir Eric lias twice attempted to visit Signor Mussolini, but so l'ar has succeeded only In reaching Signor Suvich. Italian Under-Secretary for Foreign Affairs. {§ LONDON, Feb. 28. The Romo correspondent of the Times says a further hitch has occurred in the demarcation of the proposed neutral zone between Abyssinia and the Italian territory. Consequently Italy is not interrupting her military preparations, especially as 90,000 armed Abyssinians are in the neighbourhood of the frontier and others are being rushed there. Abyssinian acquisitions in modern arms and aeroplanes are considerable.
