The balance of Anglo-Polish trade lias been heavily against Britain and the Government anticipates a substantial improvement in exports to Poland. The Polisli duties on woollen textiles have been reduced variously from 5 to 50 per cent. Poland, besides continuing to enjoy most favoured nation treatment on the British market, will receive tariff concessions of various kinds on limber, pit ponies and poultry and guarantees against an increase in duties on wood pulp, bacon, ham, butter, eggs and tinned meats.
