OHAUPO CLUB. THE ANNUAL MEETING. At the first annual merlin,a' of the Ohaupo (lolf Club the president, Mr \V. Forsyth, presided over lit members. ■The balance-sheet showed Ihn.l the chili, which was formed only last season, was in a sound llnaneiai position. The president explained that I his season a new site had been acquired for links, which had been surveyed by Mr \V. M. Horton, of Hamilton, and that with the money available from last season new greens had been prepared in first-class golf country. The prospects were for a large increase in the membership. It was decided to hold a dance on March til. and a strong committee was set up to arrange particulars. (1 Ulcers for the ensuing season were elected as follows: —Patron. Mr W. t. Tayior; president, Mr W. A. Forsyth; vice-presidents, Messrs \. Nicholson, \. H. Carter, and W. Hickerby; secretary. Mr F. llowarlti: club captain and haiidicapper. Mr W. llickerbv; committee. Messrs Wright. Nicholson, Field. Hickerby, 'Fare, O'Connor. Hosw ell : ladies’ commiltee, Mesdames Sole, Mingle, Fliaw, Titmarsb. Hickerby and Miss ScolL
